Waiting on a line....

Oh my friend. You have learned so well from your past relationships. You have learned how to treat people exactly the way you were treated....left hurt, ignored, and confused. The past few months have rocked me up and down like the waves of Lake Michigan, yet you remain unaware because you are an avid boatman. I left my heart waiting in the water. You baited the hook, threw out the line, but reeled it in within seconds. My heart remained there, and it was carried up and down with all the different ways you have treated me. Most recently though, there are no ups, and I find myself sinking. It makes me even question if our friendship is drowning too....
